25-year C-Suite executive – Current CEO of Puttshack, Former CEO, Topgolf International
Throughout his 25 years in the C-Suite, Joe has succeeded in building high performing teams, creating exceptional cultures, and leading multiple companies from their foundational stage to operationally established high-growth ventures. Joe’s core experience is focused on middle-market businesses, within multiple industries, that find themselves at a key inflection point in their company development.
Joe joined Puttshack in early 2019 as its CEO and a member of its board of directors. Puttshack is the world’s only upscale, tech-infused mini golf experience with an upscale casual dining experience featuring globally inspired food and signature drink offerings. The company currently operates 18 Puttshack locations.
Joe served as CEO of Topgolf for five years and led the then early-stage company through its foundational stage and first period of rapid growth. Topgolf was acquired in early 2021 by Callaway in a transaction valued at $2.6 billion.
Joe earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS, in accounting, from Northern Illinois University; he is also a Certified Public Accountant. Joe has been a Board Member or advisory board member at multiple privately-owned companies.
